and now for a grave and sorrowful introduction.
the second drug. LOL
i've been taking this one since grade 9. and i only take it two times a year.
it goes by the name of YFC camps.
i am on my spiritual high right now. it is amazing.
okay, now to be really honest. why lie?
anyways, you may be wondering, why only two times a year? well, my spiritual/religious life is weird. it's like a rollercoaster (over-used analogy much? lol). there are ups and downs. there are times when it is hella exciting and there are times when it's not very exciting. the times of the year that revolve around YFC events are when i am just so spiritually invigorated. and then there are times that i just stray away from God. naturally? i don't know. it just happens.
my life aside, let's get straight to it.
Camp L-O-V-E, November 7-9, 2008. one amazing experience. just like all past camps i've been to. this one's been different though; it was the most massively massive camp i've been to yet. 106 awesome people under one roof? damnnnn son.
it was quite a blessing to see all the participants enjoy everything.
and then there was the whole prayer warrior part of it.
prayer warriors are intended to remain serious, but it was pretty much the most hilarious thing ever. i am quite thankful for all the PWs (and PW leader, of course) because they helped me feel more comfortable, simply through prayer. you all know who you are.
i'm not going to list any of the (inside) jokes because: 1. a number of you will not get them, and 2. you're all gonna have to join a future YFC camp if you want to be a part of these jokes :P. but if you want to see some of them, just read Jestine's blog.
oh yeah, Jestine. thanks for being such an awesome PW leader, i don't think i would've been able to fulfill my duties without you.
also, Josh, i'm glad that you had a great time (or at least i think you did LOL). as mentioned, it's really a blessing to see you open up (not in THAT way) and enjoy yourself (not in THAT way).
as you may know, Camp Love was awesome, but i think i can say that it wasn't my favourite. it was so full of energy, but i enjoy the smaller camps more. it's hard to get the attention of 57+ youth. lol
k i think i'll just stop right there. sadly, much has escaped my mind because there had been so many memories. i was going to blog right after i got back from camp, but i was kinda too tired and was on the phone
with someone
who i missed
dearly.
... lawl ^_^

and later that night, my family and i went out and ate fish & chips.
so they're really set on getting this new car. one of the first things they told me when i got back from camp is "we're placing an order on the car". wowwww. again, not complaining, it's just .... wow lol.
