kindness is their virtue and they live by it. humility is what's in their mindsets. they keep their eyes open, sighting for the helpless and the blinded. they don't care if it's a black kid or a white kid; they just offer their healing hands like the races are united. it's God that they side with, which gives me some enlightenment. in the midst of the darkness when i'm not feeling the brightest, or confident in the slightest, they support me like the cables on a high bridge. and if you can't be like this, then you gotta work towards it. inside your conscience, good and bad should not coexist. if you try to be a hybrid, that's another flight missed to paradise island.

so who are "they"? see, i'm talkin' about my parents. they make sacrifices, so i think they know what life is. the love i get from them is timeless. and i hold it in the highest regard. cuz in the future, i hope that the goodnight kiss i give to my kid contains the daily love that i experience. and that love will help him grow to be a prince. now ain't that kind of life bliss?
